Not So Coco Collection
“Not So Coco” collection was a project to display my technical flat drawing skills through adobe illustrator. The “Not So Coco” Collection is a Women’s evening wear line inspired by the beautiful elegance, femininity, and dreaminess of, my personal favorite, Rococo art & architecture.
Sustainability Project #1
In my second semester of my junior year we were all handed a trash bag full of old t-shirts. We were told that we had to create a full look using only the t-shirts in the bag. This project was all about up-cycling and sustainability with a focus on the more technical side of the industry like creating grading worksheets, care content labels, and technical flats. My sustainable look was inspired by the Pop Art culture movement.
Sustainability Project #2
In my second semester of my junior year we were also tasked to create a fully up-cycled look from 2 different non apparel products using only draping for pattern making method. For my look I chose to use an ottoman and bedsheets I got from Goodwill. I also used an ice dye technique to create a beautiful marbled textile.
